What Is
Outdoor Learning
Initiative?

ANSWER:
We Promote, Facilitate and Organize
Citizen Science & Outdoor Adventures

Our Citizen Science Component has 2 prongs:
  • Our first option is geared to groups of youth or adults wanting to participate in a guided learning experience with lots of hands-on field work and actual lab time as well. They are conducted at your location or at a local park for school groups, church youth groups, clubs, scout troops and more.

  • Our second option provides workshops for people who want to explore the fascinating world of citizen science. Areas of interest include Forest, Bird, Bee, Astronomy and Weather Watch. The workshops are educational and include an overview of how to participate in the chosen area of interest, as well as hands on lessons that will prepare you to be fully equipped to begin your citizen science activities upon the completion of the workshop.
